Yes, the striping and lettering are made of reflective paint. The hashes along the sideframe are FRA-required Scotchlite reflective stickers.

Also, the paint BNSF is using on the trucks and fuel tanks of the new Gevos and Aces have a pretty good reflective quality to them as well... Great picture, You dont see a sunrise like that every day...
