Nice pic Andy, the 2802 has been running the Midway job for awhile, they run the engine via remote from the caboose, its fun to watch.

Ditto on that from me! Check out the 1st gen power sitting there on the other track, ole GP9's still running strong 50 years on, and in Cascade Green as well!

One more observation, check out the string of 40 foot boxcars in the background, very cool!! I'm sure they're MOW, but it's still nice to see them in 2006! I saw a few in San Bernardino, CA last year, they were painted white, but the paint was fading and you could clearly see the Burlington Route logo and CB&Q reporting marks.

Yeah, in that line of power there, those are SD-9s, not GP's....BNSF still rosters several of them. Good to see first generation power outnumbering the new stuff!

There is an SD-9 that makes regular runs in a consist (not leading) between Northtown and Willmar, I think it's daily.

....and by the way, the 2802 runs the "Union" job, not the "Midway" job. I have seen the SOO/CP running in similar fashion out of shoreham towards Vadnias heights-White Bear, must be some local job.
