These are nice photos, but most are not true Southern Railway photos. Norfolk Southern was formed in 1982 which is shown by NS 2727 which has been repainted by this time.

As long as it says "look ahead - look south" on the front, it's a true Southern photo. I didn't know Sou locos were still floating around as late as '89. GREAT photo! Thanks for sharing.
