When I was there for deisel days this year, the DD40X wasn't running and the SP unit behind it was doing the work. They simply used the dd40X as a control cab and for the horn and headlights. Noah Hofrichter, Reedsburg, WI

It's really sad I read all the comments on this engine. I wish that someone would make this engine a running piece of art again rather than just being a DPU.
