Hi everyone! Unfortunately I have no informations about this sinking. As I know it's still be there for a couple of years. Possibly incurance reasons make this splash....

All the lifeboats (at least on the port side) seem to be in place. I guess they just chose to swim for it. ;)

It happened some years ago. The ship was towed for the scrap area but something went wrong and wend sideways...Waters are shallow there so it touched down and it will never leave this place again. I guess ships have their own souls and do not want to die by torch..... Great photo Bill

Great shot! The wreck is of the Mediterranean Sky, a Greek ferry rebuilt from a passenger cargo ship dating from the 1960s.
