This unit was retired on July 11th 2007. Union Pacific 9838 is the only SD50 left.

Wonder why they were operating without their headlight on? I would think that was an FRA Safety Violation, wasn't it? Although the question is rather "moot" now - 10 years later. Still, I wonder....
