I love that campground. Its a beautiful place to take night shots. Was this picture taken before CN and CP decided to do the one-way on each side of the river agreement?

It was taken a long time after Canadian Northern was built. Canadian Pacific constructed their line in the late 1800's, while Canadian Northern laid their own tracks in the early 1900's. Canadian Northern was consolidated into the Government not long after, and renamed Canadian National. In 1995, CN was sold to private interests.
