This picture suddenly tells a story. I'am completely sure, that these trainset are rebulit danish lightningtrains wagons. Now with french engines. They didn't have engines at first, but was push/pull-wagons.

The added dieselenginess is not for movement of the train, but for power to aircondition. The engines were put in the train just before it was shipped from Denmark to Iran in 1995
