This is one of the nicest pan shots I've ever seen. I think the gray day works with the black paint job to result in a poster-like quality. Great job Mitch!

That's one slick shot of that slick paintscheme for the 4449! You got my vote!

One word...AMAZING..the GS4 was made for pacing shots, and Mitch, you captured its lines perfectly. Really, really nice shot.

Agreeing with whats been said above, it really does look like the perfefct pan shot. There's just enough blue and green in front of the coupler, and the gray day works with the paint job. Even with the overcast sky, there's still a lot of reflection in the black, and even a large yellow blob (a truck perhaps?) that shows the sheen of the paint, and adds a little bit of color, yet isn't defined enough to give the truck a solid outline, dating the picture as modern or recent.

Mitch, this is a great shot! It has a smooth creamy quality to it, like a painting! Rods down too! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Beautif Shot! Why did you keep it hidden away for so long?

Excellent shot! It sure is interesting to see a BNSF logo on a steam engine!

I bet the swoosh logo would look nice on the tender...ok, not really, it's back in Dalight colors now and looks as good as ever!

Mitch; You are the master of the pace shot. When I clicked on the SP 44499, I was hoping I'd see at least one of your shots of it. Great catch! Joe H.
