UP 800's may not have had as much tractive effort or pure size as Santa Fe's gigantic 4-8-4's but they were very impressive. UP at least showed some effection in creating a steam program unlike Santa Fe who scrapped or sold all of theirs. Great shot Mitch. Really shows off #844.
