Posted by Dave Schauer on March 7, 2006  This winter-only train runs to Escanaba, Michigan and typically uses motive power other than Missabe (there is one set of Missabe units on these trains, the other sets are gray SD40-3s). The units are rebuilt ex-CN SD40s that were owned by GCFX at one point before being repurchased by CN and assigned to the former WC (hence the WC initials on gray locomotives). I kinda like the grey paint scheme for these WC assigned locos just for something different on the CN.
