Beautiful!

Gorgeous shot, Alex!
That house on the right would be a nice place to live!
Great picture
How cool is that? A railfan's dream home, mowed ROW, a reverse curve and a path to the fence. It doesn't get any better than that!
great shot Ramos Man! My favorite of your group from the Starlate chase Monday morning. Almost looks too green and perfect for the Bay Area! Wonder how much that house costs? (think 1 Mil plus!)
Cool shot, and congrats on POTW!
good shot alex. congrats on photo of the week =)
Thanks guys. Yeah, Ryan, I wouldn't be suprised at all if that house broke the 1 mil mark! One of my moms co workers owns one of the houses at Hercules along the ROW that are similar to the one in the pic, I think she paid around 900 thousand.
Congratulations Alex, on Photo of the Week! Very well earned with this gem of a photo!
Beautiful shot. Wow, one of my Amtrak Cascade units is way away from home. Never seen that paint scheme on one of them before. Again, amazing shot.

Thing is, I know that a sole, 3,000 Horsepower F59PHi is capable of shoving twelve fully loaded Surfliner cars and a dead locomotive from IRV to LAX. Admittedly it's a lot of strain on the locomotive, but we just did it this weekend after #456 conked out. So by that same token. one sole P42, with 4,200 horsepower, Should be quite capable of pulling nine superliners, a hi-level, and a heritage bag car the 600 some iles from SEA to SAC. I guess it's fortunate that one of the Talgos is out of service then.

Is that the Best you can Do?
Great shot Alex, Congrats on POTW
Super scenery, super train and super shot! Thanks for sharing!

Great shot! Nice to see something other than a P42DC leading! Even better that it's a Cascades EMD F59PHI on the front!
