Posted by Jim Blunt on April 1, 2007  CN used ditch lights between Jasper and both Vancouver and Prince Rupert since before diesels. The ditch lights pictured here have just been added to the unit. On eastward trains the ditch lights were removed and held for the next westbound. CN used them for many years before they became mandatory.
