I was wondering what was going to happen to those units. To bad they never ran them on an excursion. Did they ever run on the CALA?

I dont believe the ever ran on the CALA. They were brought here by the former owner of the WCL (Ed Tuttle, I think his name was) and stored, but never used...

I agree with Hank, what a waste of a true rarity. Those would make some beautiful excursion units with a little TLC.

I'd be happy just to see diesels of this type cosmeticaly fixed up and displayed,Running them on excursions would be more of a dream come true.
To much history is being trashed!

It's a shame to see this go. My Dad worked for the C&NW and did repairs on the E's and F's. He could have possibly serviced this one at some time.
