I decided to stroll over the the Illinois Railway Museum website to look at the web cams and it appears that the 4160 has made its way down there. Maybe recently given to them. I hope that they can get it back up and running and painted.

Yes it was donated to the Illinois Railway Museum. Not too sure what is going to happen to it, I've heard everything from a repaint to dismantling it and using it as a parts source.

I've heard it's going to get repainted into the Rock Island's "Rock" paint scheme. It still runs, I assume it won't be a parts source. (I hope not)
