I think this is the unit that is normally used only with the snowplow, not a radio controlled switcher.

Who operates these things…Engineering employees in remote control! CN tried this a few years ago with equipment personnel. After a lengthy arbitration process, the railway lost. Other than train crews, you don’t have work rest, hours of service rules and of course…Less Pay.

KCS has at least two of these in M-of-W service; the other one is mated to a Jordan spreader. Both are set up for remote operation (or, in the case of the one mated to the spreader, operation from the spreader itself). If more power were needed, all they'd have to do is MU another locomotive to the GP10.
