UP is obviously confused; that looks like an NS unit to me, LOL!

Nice catch! ES44s everywhere! But what is that I see behind the last UP unit? It looks like it has an Alco fuel tank!

Looks like an EMD back there to me, but the grey paint suggest an LMX B39-8. (Don't ask me).

What is that 2nd unit? Could it be BNSF 7758 in the new scheme.

No no, definitely not an EMD unit. The fuel tank is too round and there's a gap between the walkway and the top of the tank which isn't present on EMD's because of the air reservoir. Also if you look close, in the trees you can see that the cab roof is way too round to be an EMD. That leaves one other option, ALCO. But the one thing throwing me off is the paint scheme. Sorry about the long reply.

That would be an M630.

Thats cool, I caught that on a westbound back on July 3rd, at Deshler, Ohio, along with 9 other brand new units. The train was UP 4077 lead, UP 9473, UP 5495, UP 5496, UP 5521,UP 5518, UP 5517, UP 5520, UP 5514, UP 5515, UP 5497, & UP 5516. It was nice to see this many units on the train. As I was shooting it, it looked to be from a distance, 4 units, but then it got closer it was 6 units, no wait 8, no wait looks to be 10, but then it ended up being 12, which was neat to see.
