What's the reasoning behind that?

The Sounder cars are heading back to Seattle because Sounder, well, wants them back. The cars will be sent back as fast as they can be replaced by former Metra gallery cars. These cars are being rebuilt by Nippon-Sharyo in Japan.

Nice shot. It's good to see trains from back home (NOVA) while I'm living in Philadelphia.

Yay, we're getting our Sounder equiptment back! Back to the Industrial district they go to rot on the sidings they were rotting on before VRE leased them. Any idea when they're coming back to Seattle [or at least leaveing Virginia]? Thanks.

It would have been better if Sounder cancelled there trainset's and VRE kept them. They looked better running in and out of Washington than they do in Seattle.
