WOW thats original ! when will they start using any of these cars it seem wierd to see a stainless steel car in high platform door style, where are the pantographs? who built these cars?

These cars are definitely a clean break from the past. I hope they release these into service for the Electric Line soon for one main reason, THEY HAVE BATHROOMS!!! They are built by Sumitomo/ Nippon-Sharyo, the same company that built Metra's newest set of bi-level cars (the ones with the super-big windows!) What's also unique is that their pantographs are located in the rear of the car instead of up front like the older set of Highliners.
