| Remarks & Notes |
| With the new interchange of traffic from CPKC to CSX via the form Meridian & Bigbee, the chance to see CP heritage units in eastern Alabama is quite possible. This day is no exception and finds one of the 10 rebuilt SD70ACU locomotives wearing the classy looking tuscan red, gray, and gold paint scheme. This locomotive featuring a nod to Canadian Pacific’s past is leading M527 through Opelika with 52 cars in tow. Interestingly, the cut of intermodal comprised of 26 Schneider & 3 STG containers is at the rear of today’s train instead of its usual location up front. |
