To show how snow fighting on the Bernina line was executed decades ago, the Rhaetian Railway organised the snowblower adventure trip. The about 60 participants are riding in the railcars ABe 4/4 # 46 "Goldliner" and # 47 in multiple control, pulling the snow scratch Xk # 9132. The consist is in the curve before the "Wild west bridge" on the Alp da Buond Sur between Bernina Lagalb and Ospizio Bernina. The wings of the snow scratch are widened to 6 meter, so the snow can pulled from both sides into the track and the following snow blower can throw it away. Because there is no much snow, in the days leading up to this, track maintenance workers manually cleared snow from the slope into the 6-meter space.
