| After meeting a northbound train at Lorne, a southbound train led by a pair of H1 Dash 9's accelerates through Hanley Falls, MN. The tracks in the foreground are for an elevator that no longer exists. The sign in the distance on the left for the "S Wye Switch Hanley Falls" marks a somewhat historically significant location. "Wisconsin, Minnesota & Pacific Railroad v. Jacobson" went all the way to the United States Supreme Court in 1900, whose decision forced the two intersecting railroads here to build an interchange. |
