| Trains arrived (I think they still do.) by going north on the old SAL main and backing into the receiving yard. This resulted in a nice runby just as it was before CSX in their infinite wisdom chose to turn a very good mainline into the Norlina Branch. Fortunately the right of way is intact and NC plans to rebuild. Love those rainbow consists. |
