| Two VR class Dv12 diesel hydraulics, numbers 2522 and 2741 have arrived to Kannonkoski as light locomotive move from Jyväskylä some 30 minutes earlier. The locos have already coupled to the loaded consist waiting on the loading track and the driver is walking the consist, making a brake check and checking for any logs sticking out from the cars. Soon the train will be pushed to the main track north of the station and then the train will move to track 1 to wait for it's departure. All of this is done by the driver alone using remote control, a stantard procedure for most freight rail operators in Finland. |
