A considerable amount of snow has accumulated on the roof of the imposing Ospizio Bernina railway station building, 2,253 meters above sea level. An employee of the Rhaetian Railway has climbed onto the roof and is throwing the snow down onto the platform. Other employees are making sure that no one walks into the danger zone. The large station building was built in 1925 by architect Nicolaus Hartmann.
