| For the last 1/2 mile or so to the Clinch River, NS, CSX, US 23 and Troublesome Creek follow a narrow defile between high hills. This Eastbound coal train is exiting a shelf blasted from solid rock that carries the former Southern tracks on its climb to the summit in a deep cut named appropriately, Deep Cut. They will drop the helpers at the siding at CP Watkins. |
