Remarks & Notes
Jerome Avenue Local. New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R62A car 1721 is the lead motor on a Manhattan-bound 4 train, seen cruising down Jerome Avenue Line towards 183rd Street Station with Romanesque icon the Kingsbridge Armory dominating the skyline. While 4 service is typically provided by "new tech" trains, a separate General Order in Brooklyn forced the use of R62A trains from Westchester Yard as substitutes for the weekend.
