New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R62A car 1661 is the lead motor on a Manhattan-bound 4 train, seen curving towards Kingsbridge Road Station on the IRT Jerome Avenue Line with brutalist behemoths the Tracey Towers looming large in the background. While 4 service is typically provided by "new tech" trains, a separate General Order in Brooklyn forced the use of R62A trains from Westchester Yard as substitutes for the weekend. |
