Two former BLS vehicles meet in Thurgau! The BLS Re 465 # 011 stands at the buffer stop on the pull-out track of the StadlerRail commissioning center; the locomotive is to be purchased by StadlerRail for transfer journeys. Thurbo's GTW RABe 526 # 263 passes by on the Thurtal line as train 12048 of the S10 from Romanshorn via Weinfelden to Wil SG. This articulated low-floor passenger train was built by StadlerRail in a shortened form as RABe 526 # 263 in a series of 5 vehicles (# 260 to # 265) for RM (Regionalverkehr Mittelland). Following a merger between RM and BLS, the then red train came to BLS in 2006. Around 2009, the train was extended to its current length by adding another carriage. In 2013, these vehicles were sold by BLS to SBB and used on lines in the Jura region from Biel. Finally, in 2018, these trains were sold to Thurbo and repainted in their design.
