Sitting in the Belt Railway of Chicago's Clearing Yard is one of their TR4 "cow/calf" switcher sets, BRC TR4A 505 and TR4B 513. These were built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division in September 1950, originally numbered BRC 505A and 513B. TR4A are the cab and cabless (or "A" and "B" versioins) of EMD's SW7 end cab switchers.
In the background Southern Pacific AC4400CW 242 sits in the yard, although the SP had no trackage in the state of Illinois.
