Early Morning in the Woo
MBTA 1129, the "Cranberry" heritage unit, takes a work train through CP-44 in Worcester. This extra worked on a few different weekends in November to prepare the interlocking for the new Union Station configuration, where the controlled siding will be turned into a station track. Interestingly, this was a combined work extra that dropped stick rail from flat cars, as well as dropping ballast from hoppers. Its crew was also on duty at 3 in the morning, meaning that it was lit by direct morning sunlight.
