Sitting in Union Pacific's Dolores Industrial Lead (just north of Dolores Yard), awaiting their next assignment, are a pair of UP General Electric diesels: UP Dash 9-44CW 9684 (formerly Chicago & North Western 8620), and not yet fully repainted UP AC4400CW 6215 (which, I believe, is a former Southern Pacific diesel, in this case SP 169 … but that is just a guess, as there are no obvious clues to its former identity).
