| The Austrian railway company Westbahn has ordered three SMILE high-speed trains from StadlerRail for service from Vienna via Semmering and the new Koralmbahn to Klagenfurt and Villach. The trains are technically identical to the "Giruno" RABe 501 # 001 to # 041 trains operated by SBB. The first new Westbahn train, RABe 501 # 042 (93 85 0 501 042-2 CH-WSTBA), is running as test run 97348 from Romanshorn Seewiesen to Sulgen, between Oberaach and Erlen, on the first day of test runs. |
