| The Joint Line running from Denver to Pueblo, Colorado is owned by the Union Pacific Railroad. The line between Palmer Lake and Monument is a single track which handles both north and south running trains, hence the reminder to north bound traffic to secure a warrant to run through Plamer Lake and on towards Denver. Here we see BNSF 6635 (ES44C4) as it heads south towards Monument and then will run through the United States Air Force Academy property and then Colorado Springs. |
