| Not Quite the Lake Shore
In the summer of 2025, the Boston section of the Lake Shore Limited was temporarily suspended due to a sinkhole discovered near the Post Road Branch in New York. In order to shuttle equipment between Albany and Boston, Amtrak had to run non-revenue equipment moves via the CSX Selkirk Branch. On a warm summer night, one of these equipment moves nears the end of its trip to Boston. |
