Stored in the small yard of the West Texas & Lubbock Railroad are a pair of Texas NorthEastern diesels, including TNER GP7 107. Originally built by EMD in February 1951 as Missouri-Kansas-Texas GP7 1517, this Geep was later renumbered MKT 107. It was eventually sold to Intermountain Western Railroad as their 107. Upon the demise of the IWRR, it ended up on the roster of TNER. (Brownfield, Texas – August 7, 2004)
