What you think you see here: The Rhätische Bahn's Geaf 2/2 # 20604 shunting locomotive, powered by electricity from the overhead line and a powerful battery, is pulling the “Capricorn” ABe 4/16 # 3123 “Piz Sesvenna.” In fact, the shunting locomotive is on a test run on the rear track of the double track between Landquart and Malans, and the “Capricorn” ABe 4/16 # 3123 is traveling as RE 1035 of Line RE13 to Klosters-Davos-Filisur and St.Moritz, on the front track of the double track towards Malans. The two vehicles also have different couplings: the ABe 4/16 has an automatic center buffer coupling, while the shunting locomotive has a conventional manual coupling with a center buffer.
