| Remarks & Notes |
| What looks like a new locomotive fresh from the factory, still without any markings, is in fact a locomotive that is over 30 years old. It was delivered in 1994 by SLM and ABB as Ge 4/4 # 8003 for 900 volts DC to the Montreux-Oberland Bernois (MOB). It was sold to the Rhaetian Railway in 2019 as an addition to the 12 existing Ge 4/4 III # 641 to # 652 locomotives. The engineering and conversion took a very long time, as the locomotive is also to serve as a prototype for a refit program for the existing locomotives. The future Ge 4/4 III # 653 of the RhB is on a test run 9030 from Klosters Platz to Landquart, near Malans with Gauschla and Gonzen mountains in the background.
