EC 8 leaves Basel SBB for Hamburg with Deutsche Bahn locomotive 101 # 057, in the special “Lok für Europa” (Locomotive for Europe) livery. On this day, the train had three SBB Apm panorama cars attached as a special replacement for the normal first-class cars. All cars, including the dining car, were from SBB.
