A shiny, six-car, stainless steel R68 (Westinghouse-Amrail, 1986-1988) shuttle train is seen sneaking into W 8th St Station, with a splash of spray paint on the side. A replacement 2-car set had just been brought up to Prospect Park to take the place of this one, which is headed to Coney Island Yard to have the graffiti removed. I've seen 4-car sets coupled to 2-car shuttles to bring the shuttle set up to Prospect Park, with the 4-car set returning alone to the yard - I thought so the yard operator had something to return in - but this kind of shuffling of paired cars makes the extra four seem unnecessary.
