| The CPKC holiday train has just traveled through the tunnel under the Detroit River from Canada and arrived at its first stop in the United States in Detroit, Michigan pausing for US customs in front of the beautifully restored Michigan Central Depot. Originally built in 1913 and left derelict for years, Ford Motor Company purchased the station with plans to redevelop it into a hub for its future mobility initiatives. An incredible restoration began and Ford recently unveiled results of the careful and efforts.
Many braved the cold evening to cheer the train's arrival. |
