| A Metra afternoon Fox Lake or Elgin trains pass each other at A2. The train 512 will soon be stopping for the Western Ave station stop. Man, these 500s SD70s are so cool to see on passenger trains! A2 can be super busy during the morning and afternoon rush hours as 2 triple-track mainlines host dozen upon dozen of Metra trains. Buyer beware around here though, as Metra cops come here often. My experience was fine and understanding, but I know a group that went to jail for no apparent reason. |
