| Phase III Lives On
Phase III Amtrak NPCU #90406 leads a Downeaster to Boston. This NPCU was originally repainted for the exhibit train in 2011 (Amtrak's 40th anniversary) and has since been placed into service on the Downeaster. Now renumbered to 90406 to make space for ALC-42 #406, it continues to serve as a non-powered control unit in revenue service. |
