Remarks & Notes
It is extremely rare to see two sixaxle Stadler built Euro9000 locomotives, each with 9000 kW, in front of a train. Their high tractive power is actually sufficient for all trains, taking into account the maximum draw hook load. The locomotives therefore do not have operational multiple control. Towing a locomotive requires extensive preparation. In front of the approximately 600-meter-long train 48084 with empty freight cars for sugar beet transport from Islikon via Winterthur-Kloten-Regensdorf-Brugg-Bözberg-Basel to Wustermark near Berlin in Germany, are the two Euro9000 2019 # 319 “Artic Rider” and # 307 “Jubilee Rider” (20 years HSL Logistik 2003 to 2023) of the European Loc Pool (ELP) traveling together, the second locomotive being switched off. Both are leased to HSL Logistik, which has now been taken over by TXLogistik. The train operates in Switzerland under TXLCH (TXLogistik Schweiz). The train is between Winterthur and Kemptthal, about 2 hours behind schedule.
