Having backed onto an industrial spur at Domtar Paper, the crew’s day is done. One of the crew, ice chest in hand, prepares to climb off Pee Dee River Railroad GP16 1797 (teamed with PDRR 1842). With a population about 70, Tatum is an extremely small town.

PDRR 1797 is ex-CSXT 1797, ex-SBD 4751, ex-SCL 4751, ex-SCL GP7 839, nee-ACL 219. PDRR 1842 is ex-CSXT 1842, ex-SBD 4796, ex-SCL 4796, ex-SCL GP7 975, nee-SAL 1795. (Tatum, South Carolina – October 16, 2008)
