Mixed Metro.
New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R10 car 3189 is the lead motor on a 9-car mixed train seen rounding the curve south of W 8th Street Station on the BMT Brighton Line. The reason for the mixed consist was that this was an equipment transfer in preparation for the NY Transit Museum's annual Parade of Trains event, and thus two trains worth of equipment was being moved from the yard.
