Lightning Stripes at Water Level. Metro-North Railroad P32AC-DM no. 211 is seen shoving Hudson Line train 8856 south along the namesake Hudson River. The locomotive is part of the railroad's heritage fleet, sporting the "lightning stripe" paint scheme of the former New York Central, whose trains plied these rails as part of the famous Water Level Route to points west.
