| Final Months: After years of testing and delays, on 08/07/25, it was announced by Amtrak that the Acela II trainsets would begin revenue service on 08/28/25, replacing the first-generation trainsets. A photographer is seen at Jersey Avenue Train Station taking a photo of an original Acela Trainset with AMTK 2012 and AMTK 2013 (hind end) during the last remaining months of service. |
