| After spending much of the day chasing Pere Marquette 1225 from Alma to Owosso, I headed over to Durand to see if there was any CN action. While there, a small group of us learned that an eastbound train was heading our way and would turn south on the Holly Sub for Pontiac. We relocated to the community of Gaines, where we see a pair of CN SD70M-2s leading a healthy consist of general merchandise and intermodal by the now replaced searchlight signals. |
