It is just after 1:00 am, and the latest Light Rail Vehicle to be delivered to the OC Streetcar is almost all on the rails, with only the rear truck still on the trailer. This is the sixth of eight cars for this new light rail line, slated to open in 2026, but with testing and training to begin in September. Before much loner, a Herzog HiRail pickup truck, equipped with a special trolley coupler, will back down the track to couple on and haul this into the nearby carbarn, where the pilots and pantographs will be installed.
